Hello! Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to take a look at Gordon's Pond Utopia from Carlisle PA.
From day one, I have been Passion for water. I started out playing in the bath tub and then moved up to swimming in pools. Then I started playing in creeks and lakes, having a great time. I never knew it would lead me to where I am today.
I graduated high school in 1997 and went to work Biller's Masonry and Dry-vit Co. for 10 years. I moved to North Dakota to marry my wife, and worked there as a landscaper for 2 years. That’s where I developed my great passion for building ponds and streams. Our family of 3 moved back to Pennsylvania and we added one more little girl to our family. I went back to the company that I worked for after I graduated high school, which was where I learned to do retaining walls and patios. One day I decided I wanted to work for myself, and here I am. I have been working for myself since the spring of 2011. Here at Gordon’s Pond Utopia, we always take great pride in our work no matter what we do.
Since I have been working for myself, I do everything I can to learn more to better serve you. Some of the things I have done include: becoming a (CAC) Certified Aquascape Contractor; NCMA certified to build retaining walls; attending Pondemonium at Aqualand (in Chicago) every year to learn all the new things coming in the water gardening industry. I have attended many classes through my local supplier on low voltage lighting, pavers and lots more.
I will let my good friend Ed Beaulieu, one of NAT GEO WILD's Pond Stars, explain the importance of picking a Certified Aquascape Contractor to complete your job.
